Engineering America Announces Four New Employees as It Builds for the Future

Glen Gustafson

Glenn Gustafson comes to Engineering America with over 14 years of experience as a consulting engineer. He has extensive experience in municipal, state and federal engineering projects including the design, planning, and funding of wastewater treatment, street and utility, site development, and flood control projects. Glenn has worked in the Minneapolis metro area for most of his 14–year career for local firms as a wastewater group manager, city engineer, business development manager and client service manager. Glenn has led many complex projects including wastewater treatment facility projects as large as $30 million.

Glenn has a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering from the University of North Dakota (Grand Forks), a master of science degree in civil engineering from the University of Minnesota (Minneapolis), and a master of business administration degree from Augsburg College (Minneapolis). He is a registered professional engineer in Minnesota, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin.

Born and raised in western North Dakota, Glenn is a die-hard University of North Dakota sports fan. He enjoys fishing, hunting, snowmobiling and scuba diving. In his spare time, he is an avid walleye tournament fisherman.

Kal Tucker

Kal Tucker is a recent graduate of Montana State University with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and a minor in aerospace engineering. Kal has joined the Engineering America Sales Team as a sales engineer for the state of Montana.

A lifetime resident of Montana from the Bozeman area, Kal is looking forward to working with fellow engineers, municipalities and industrial entities with their liquid storage solutions. Kal enjoys traveling and any kind of outdoor activity including hiking, skiing, biking and running.

Ryan Saverine

Ryan Saverine is one of the newest additions to Engineering America, joining the company in May, 2011 as a project manager. He has been in the construction industry for over 15 years and has been in a supervisor role for over 5 years. Ryan earned a bachelor of science degree in business management from the University of Wisconsin (River Falls) in 2003.

Originally from Waukesha, Wisconsin, Ryan currently resides in New Richmond, Wisconsin, with his wife and two boys. Ryan is an active member of the local Ducks Unlimited chapter. He enjoys hunting, fishing and playing men's league hockey.

Travis Ladwig

Travis Ladwig grew up in southern Minnesota and attended high school in Owatonna where he played football, basketball and track. Travis graduated from St. Cloud State University in 2006 with a degree in construction management. He immediately went to work for APi Construction Company where, over the next four years, he grew from field manager to assistant project manager. In 2010, after leaving APi, he had a brief stint with Caterpillar before recently joining Engineering America.

When Travis isn’t working, he enjoys spending time scuba diving and riding motorcycles with his wife and spending time at their two family cabins in the Brainerd Lakes area of northern Minnesota. He also enjoys farming and woodworking.
