Chief Operating Officer - Integrator

Scott joined EA Tanks as Chief Operating Officer in 2016.  In 2017, he added the role of Chief Financial Officer and joined the Board of Directors.  In addition to his background in accounting, law and consulting, Scott brings a history of success working with high growth small and mid-sized businesses in a variety of roles including Controller, Chief Financial Officer, Consultant and Board Member.

Scott received his B.B.A in accounting from the University of Notre Dame and his J.D in law from DePaul University.  After graduating from Notre Dame, Scott joined the international accounting firm of Deloitte & Touche in Chicago where he was a member of the small and emerging growth company practice.

Scott left Deloitte & Touche to join Stuart Corporation, a real estate development, construction and property management company in St. Paul, MN to serve as their first Controller.  While there he served on the Executive Committee which acted as the Board of Directors and managed a portfolio of more than fifty separate entities.

After Stuart Corporation, Scott started a CPA firm which was merged with Abdo, Abdo & Eich CPAs four years later where he became a partner in charge of firm-wide client tax matters.  Following Abdo, an opportunity arose to assist Aagard Sanitation in positioning itself for a buyout.  During those four years, Aagard tripled its revenue and increased its fair market value by six times.  Following the buyout, Scott returned to his private CPA practice.

Again in 2004, an opportunity arose with Sand Companies, a $400 million real estate development, construction and property management company consisting of multi-family rental, commercial and hotel properties.  During his four years there, Scott served as the Chief Financial Officer and was a member of the Board of Directors.  After Sand, he returned to private CPA practice providing financial, tax and accounting services to individuals and small and mid-sized businesses.

Personally, Scott has been involved in many youth and community organizations including Board Member and Coach of many football, hockey and baseball teams; Cubmaster for the local Boy Scouts and 4-time President of the Cathedral High School Blue Line Club.  Scott and his wife Mary Kay reside in St. Cloud, MN and have four adult sons.
